Lithology and Thickness

Fine-grained sandstone. Up to 400 m of shale, siltstone, and minor sandstone assigned to the InfraKrol Formation. (G.Jiang et al., 2002)

Regional extent

Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Can be correlated with Chambaghat Fm, Krol Sandstone Fm.
